Set to officially launch in Taipei by the end of 2024, YiKeSong is a croissant specialty store offering affordable prices ranging from NT$42 to NT$65. Inspired by the idea that croissants are a staple enjoyed by everyone in France, YiKeSong brings this accessibility to Taiwan while infusing it with local flavors.
The brand’s founder has incorporated uniquely Taiwanese ingredients such as Sakura shrimp, scallion sausage, and almond anchovies into its croissant creations, crafting a distinctive identity for YiKeSong that embodies the spirit of Taiwan.
What does it feel like to place an ultra-Western croissant on a traditional Taiwanese temple offering table?
We boldly blend Eastern patterns and temple elements, inspired by the traditional farmer’s almanac used to “choose auspicious days.” This daring fusion of East and West creates a croissant brand deeply rooted in Taiwanese everyday life.
